What the local rule covers
Ontario requires records for pre-packaged sterile items used in the service, including manufacturer, lot number, and expiry date. Records remain on site for at least one year and are retained for at least three years overall.
Affichr helps tattoo artists organize session records. It does not certify compliance, replace a health authority, or guarantee that an automated label read is correct. Check every field against the package and confirm the rules that apply to your establishment.

Can I record more than one ink or needle lot?
Yes. A session can include multiple ink colors and multiple needle or cartridge entries, each reviewed before the record is finalized.
Are records automatically submitted to an inspector?
No. Affichr prepares a readable session record. Any disclosure or submission remains a studio decision and should follow the authority’s request.
